Hi, I’m Peter Cui, a personal trainer, online fitness coach, and nutrition coach based in the Des Moines, Iowa metro.

For the past 11 years, I’ve helped people build strength, improve body composition, and create sustainable fitness habits that actually fit real life. I’ve worked with 4,000+ clients across in-person and online coaching, and one thing has always been clear: lasting results come from smart structure, consistency, and support — not extreme programs.

My goal as a coach is simple: help you feel confident, capable, and in control of your health for the long run.

My Background

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and am a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach.

Over the course of my career, I’ve coached in nearly every setting:

  • Private training studios
  • Boutique gyms
  • Large commercial gyms
  • My own in-person personal training business
  • My own online coaching business

This wide range of experience has shaped how I coach today — adaptable, realistic, and focused on what actually works for different people, schedules, and lifestyles.

Beyond One-on-One Coaching

In addition to working directly with clients, I also help shape the coaching industry behind the scenes.

I work as a consultant for Jon Goodman’s Online Trainer Mentorship, one of the largest online fitness business coaching programs in the world. Through this role, I help fitness businesses improve how they deliver and support online coaching — and I’m regularly referred businesses to assist with their systems, programming, and fulfillment.

I also write fitness programs for brands such as T3 Body and Fit To Serve, and I and my team personally build training programs for 500+ clients per month across multiple platforms.

This ongoing exposure keeps my coaching methods sharp, current, and grounded in what works at scale — while still staying personal at the individual level.

Every client starts with a conversation about their goals, lifestyle, history, and preferences. From there, I build a plan that makes sense for you — not just on paper, but in real life.
